I can finally check off something on my bucket list: Sundance Film Festival. I have lived here for three years now and never been! So this past weekend it was my friend Adam's birthday so we went up there for some star searching, movie watching, and party hopping. Sadly we did not complete any of those but it was still fun. We ate at the Red Banjo and walked the streets. Downside: it felt like it was -2 degrees. Upside: Watching all of the 40-50 year old women walking around completely wasted. We attempted to go see a movie but it cost too much for us poor college students. Here is half of our group:
The next day we went wedding dress shopping for my roommate Lindsey!! I wish i could post the picture of her because she looks B-E-A-UTIFUL in her dress but I don't want Mark to get a sneak peek. So just take my word for it that on her wedding day my roommate will be looking hot. We also are starting our LGN diet and 6 week 6 pack so we can all be in shape for the Big day.

Happy birthday Roomate
Happy happy birthday to the best roommate in the world, Lindsey Emma Frey.
On this day (or yesterday if you are counting that she was born in Germany) 21 years ago Lindsey came into this world and has blessed with her presence.
As a little present to her I would love to share about the Lindsey that I know and that most people don't get to see.
1. She is a part-time model
2. If she were an animal she would be a camel
3. A typical morning consists of her and I waking up to music, followed by a good dance
5. She LOVES donuts
6. So fashion forward
7. She is an avid reader and everynight she puts on her head lamp to read
But seriously, this girl is one in a million and I can't imagine my life without her. When we met freshman year we hit it off right away and have been inseparable ever since (we really haven't spent more than 2 weeks apart in like 2 years.) She is the greatest at giving relationship advice, encouragement when I am down, and the best at distracting me from ever doing homework. I could not ask for a better friend and I am so thankful for her in my life. We have been through a lot together and we can pretty much read each others mind. We may never agree on the same type of movies but you can always count on us having some type of bet for Costa Vida.
Lindsey I love you and here are some of the good times we have had together over our friendship
I love you Lindsey!!

Failblog.com
I know I know, I am terrible at this whole blogging thing. I was so good last semester at keeping up but this semester has been so hectic and crazy. Classes are going good (except Physics 105 which will be the death of me). Other than that it has been quite an exciting few weeks. Let me start with this past Monday, which was the MLK holiday we went on the greatest TOM AND HUCK adventure! So this is what happened.....
Mela and I decided we were going to have a productive day in the library so we got all settled in to the HBLL when one of our friends called and ask us to go hiking. Library or hiking? Which one do you think won? Yep hiking. Hiking- as in the middle of January up in the mountains hiking. But we decided why not? So the 5 of us traveled up to Vivian Park where our friend Kade picked a mountain and we were going to conquer it. No trail. The hike wasn't all that bad except we were in heavy rain boots, poor decision. There was no snow but the wind was blowing so hard it was semi-miserable. We were freezing, like literally we could not smile because our faces were frozen ( as you can see). Like girls Mela and I wore 5 layers on top and bottom, including full snow gear. The guys- they wore jeans and a hoodie. They didn't even have gloves or hats, luckily we brought extras.
Once we got down it was necessary to finish off with a fire

And hot dogs with chili (cooked right in the can)
We got some skilled boyscouts. But thanks to Kade and Craig for a great adventure. Best MLK holiday. ever.
So goal of the week: I am going to post everyday about things that I have been up to so keep reading and please be patient with me. I will get back into habit.

Ode to Jessi Fay Pitcher
My Dear Jessi,
Here is a little letter to let you know how much I love you. Over the summer we thought of who this "jessica" girl could be and we made up all of these scenarios of who you were. Never in a million years did we think that you would have as much impact on our lives as you had. I speak for all of my roommates when I say that you have made all of us better people. You fit in perfect with our matching sunday outfits and shoes
We love you through it all.
I can't wait to hear about all of your experiences in Spain (and read your blog). I am super jealous/ excited about your trip especially because we have to endure a Provo winter without you. I keep telling myself that I lived 20 years without knowing you, I can go a few months. But the truth is that after knowing you it is going to be so hard. No one could fit more perfectly in our apt as you do. You appreciate our abrevs, otter impersonations, baking,

I am so happy that I found another person who shares the passion and love that I do for BYU basketball
I've seen you at your classiest
at your not so best...
dressed up
and dressed down
We love you through it all.
