Lets Play Catch Up

School is slowly killing me but with one month left I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. So that is my excuse for not blogging recently so let me tell you everything, the good, the bad and the ugly, that are gong on in my life

1. BYU beat Iona last night in a nail biter. Go Cougs. Anyone want to fly me to Kentucky for the game?

2. I lost my inertube waterpolo game tonight. I also came to the realization that I am TERRIBLE at this sport. I didn't score and I barely completed a pass. I got hit in the face. fail.

3. My good friend from home, Hannah came to visit me this weekend! Love her

4. I spend almost every night in the library. FML

5. I get to spend it with these wonderful people

6.  Our crew randomly will run into each other during those late night tests and then celebrate with Sammy shakes afterwards

7. On my facebook this ad popped up. It knows me to well....
Look at the first website

8. Last weekend I went to a Maquerade party with Jeff. Ya we made those masks.

9. It reached 60 these past few days!!

10. I leave for Seattle on Thursday with Lindsey!

Hope everyone has a great week! Love you all.

Twin Day!

So the other day I was eating lunch in the Wilk when all of a sudden my twin comes walking towards me.  My twin aka Lindsey Frey decided to wear the EXACT same outfit that I wore. Let me back up and give you the story to all of this:

For Christmas Linds and I got the same exact plaid shirt from Eddie Bauer, super random. Ever since Linds will ask me weekly to wear that shirt on the same day as her but I always decline. I made the mistake a few weeks ago wearing the shirt, with a belt, and lipstick because Linds came to school wearing the shirt, a belt, and lipstick. Yes, we did have class together and yes we did sit next to one another. So I have not worn that shirt again in fear. But on Thursday morning I woke up and found that Lindsey was sick and she told me that she was not going to school that day. It hit me I can wear that shirt!! So I wore it with a blazer, black flats, and blue jeans. Struttin off to school I was thinking that I was super sneaky and so happy that I can wear this shirt. For lunch I met up with a good friend from Jerusalem. And thats when I saw her. Linds comes into the wilk with her plaid shirt, black flats, blazer. Not only was it bad enough that we had lunch together she thought it would be funny to link arms and walk to the library together. We got so many stares and we could hear people whispering things like "I just don't people" or "How old are we?" The worst part is that I agree with everything that they are saying. We decided to top off the night with a date at Slab Pizza.

Oh how I will miss this

Moab

Over presidents day weekend the Hopkins family was gracious enough to allow Ryan to invite his roommates, Melissa and I to Moab!! We drove down friday afternoon after all of our tests, classes, meetings, etc.  I was glad that I picked Derek's car because it only took us 3 hours where as the other car took 5. Blame it on Jake's direction skills. When we arrived they made us homemade hamburgers. So amazing. I am always so grateful for the homecooked meals, I tend to forget what it is like to eat food other than rice, beans, and pasta. After dinner we relaxed in the hot tub and got a good nights sleep.

Saturday morning we woke up to the smell of bacon and sausage, much like Micheal Scott off of The Office did, until he burnt his foot. We got ready, packed huge bags of Trail Mix and headed off to the arches. We first hiked to Delicate Arch which was amazing. We could not ave asked for better weather, low 50s, perfect.

 We had to....its tradition

Now for my favorite photos of the trip: the dinner group's family photos. While taking these you would hear them say things like, "wow, we REALLY need girlfriends" or "what happened to us?". Nonetheless these guys are great and I love them.

after hiking delicate arch we stopped at some random place, got out, picked a random rock and had lunch then we made our way to Longitude arch.
So background to this picture: Ryan falls asleep in the Strangest positions, and can stay asleep for hours. So we came across this branch and noticed that it looked like ryan when he sleeps so we took a picture of him and his doppleganger branch
Ed giving his famous "angry piano finger" massages
That night we went out to eat at some Mexican restaurant and then topped of the night with scary stories. Sunday we went to church and then came home watched movies and played games like signs, the animal sounds game, and banana grams for hours. Such a good weekend and it has been hard transitioning back to the wear and tear of school. Well have a great week!
