We all know what time it is.....time to dress up, look like a fool, put on that alter ego that you've always wanted to showcase and do it with no shame. Yep, it's halloween season. Provo comes alive during Halloween, no seriously it is kind of ridiculous. The parties have already started. When part II of this post comes out I will let you know about it all. But last week some girls in our ward threw a costume party so I went as a gypsy. I bought this belly dancing costume in Jerusalem but being modest I wore a shirt and was a gypsy. You could hear me from a mile away with all of the jangles on this thing. Here are a few more pics with my lovely roomies that night:
We couldn't pass up the opportunity to do an urban shot.
Two weeks ago we met up with some of our friends that Mela met in California and we carved pumpkins. My partner, Brett and I decided to carve a unicorn. We did it in record time ( ~15 mins) and the thing was a masterpiece. Ok, it looked terrible and everyone else's pumpkins were engineered and carved with perfection. But I am not hatin on the unicorn. I am a proud parent.
They were showcased on our porch for about a week until someone came and smashed melissa's pumpkin and then mine started leaking so we decided to toss them. I guess mine wasn't even good enough to be smashed.
Well back to homework :(
what a cool costume!! and i like the urban pose. hah. good one. :) ah... and i like the pumpkin snowman, i just noticed that. but the unicorn, of course, is far more impressive.
